Spanish As Our National Language?

According to Texas Senator John Cornyn: "This week (May 1, 2009) is also an opportunity for us to honor America’s young people, who will be tomorrow’s leaders. I co-sponsored a Senate resolution designating April 30th as Dia De Los Ninos. This day serves as a reminder to keep investing in the education and potential of young Texans and Americans, who will lead our nation into the future."

The following is my response to Senator Cornyn and to Republicans everywhere:

Dia De Los Ninos? Are you now following the path of George W. Bush in regard to immigration? We do not yet need immigration reform. We do not need further pandering to the Hispanics. We need our Senators and our congressional representatives to take care of our needs first before beginning once again to worry about the Mexicans, the Hondurans, the Guatemalans and all the other foreign nationals who continue to want more rights than American citizens have.

Immigration reform has come to mean pathway to citizenship, jobs for aliens, and amnesty enforced on us deliberately but slowly. Rarely is closing the border even discussed when the subject of immigration reform comes up.

If our immigration system is broken it is because our government refuses to enforce existing laws. If the system is unfair, it is because our government is more driven by party politics than by the Constitution of the United States and the rule of law.

I suggest and implore you to use your first efforts at closing and securing our southern border. Secondly, return to workplace raids to uncover both illegal foreign nationals in our midst and the criminal employers who hire them out of greed or a pro-immigrant agenda.

Follow up with deportation proceedings against foreign nationals here illegally and prosecution of those Americans who are willing to break the law themselves in order to reduce overhead expenses.

It is Americans who need your help. Surely you must have learned this from the past two national elections. Obama and the Democrats now control the entire nation in a socialist conspiracy from which we may never emerge as a free nation again. Why is this so? Because Americans are sick and tired of Republicans failing to represent us. That is why the Democrats took control of Congress in 2006 and it is the major reason why Barack Obama now occupies the Whitehouse.

Frankly, we were and are angry at you and other Republicans for acting more like Democrats than members of the GOP. If you continue this tactic you will only insure the long occupation of the entire government by those who simply do not believe in our way of life and in our Constitution.

Dia De Los Ninos indeed. Why not Children's Day? Why not Day of American Youth? Why must we always pander to and appease those who are against us?

You are our last hope. Without your support, Texas will in very short time become a Spanish speaking state and the nation will remain a one-party political system. Naming another special day for Hispanics will not gain reelection for you or any other Republican. It will strengthen Obama's supremacy over the land and deliver us into decades of tyranny and financial ruin.

How about doing what loyal conservative American citizens want? How about following the principles and spirit of our constitution as it was written and not how it is imagined by our courts today? How about telling those criminals from other nations who have come up here to "take bread out of our mouths" to go home and fix their own national problems. How about stopping the untold millions yet to make that 100-yard dash into the land of plenty paid for by others. How about stopping "chain migration" and free citizenship to anyone in the world who despises us enough to flout our laws, insult our flag, abuse our generosity and refuse our national language?

Isn’t it time for you to stand up for me?
